Neengathaan Saavi, meaning "You Are the Key," is the first book written by Surekaa Sundar. It is a thoughtful collection of writings on life, human behaviour, personal responsibility, business values, and management.
The book began as a series of articles published on Surekaa's blog. After reading them, Mr. Guhan of Nagarathna Publishers approached him with the idea of adapting the writings into a book. The blog articles were revised, expanded, and arranged for publication within a month. Surekaa also designed the book cover himself, giving the publication a personal touch from its very beginning.
The book contains selected essays on enjoying the present moment, handling anger, understanding people, building healthy relationships, following business ethics, managing responsibilities, and approaching life with greater awareness. Each topic is written in a simple style and offers practical thoughts that readers can apply in their personal and professional lives.
Neengathaan Saavi was released in 2010 by well-known film director Mr. Seeman, who later became a prominent political leader in Tamil Nadu.
Though compact in size, the book carries many useful reflections on everyday life. Its clear language and relatable ideas have helped it reach a wide range of readers. It has also been widely downloaded and read through Kindle, allowing its message to continue reaching readers in digital form.

Thalaiva Vaa is a Tamil business novel that explores the qualities, responsibilities, and inner strength of a true leader.
The story follows Vignesh and his mentor, Chandramoulee. Through their conversations, experiences, and workplace challenges, the book explains five important principles that can help a leader grow, earn respect, and create a positive impact in an organisation.
In this book, Surekaa introduces a unique training method called "Guru Payirchi." This practical concept became widely appreciated among corporate organisations, Tamil business enterprises, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams.
Released in May 2012, Thalaiva Vaa continues to remain popular among readers. Many companies have purchased the book in bulk and presented it to managers, team leaders, and aspiring professionals. Even today, people buy and gift this book to individuals who are taking up leadership responsibilities.
Thalaiva Vaa is written for leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wishes to lead people with clarity, confidence, discipline, and purpose.

ESCAPE is the sequel to the widely appreciated business novel Thalaiva Vaa. While the first book focuses on leadership, ESCAPE turns its attention towards employees, second-level managers, and professionals who want to grow within an organisation.
The story revolves around Narendran, an employee who is guided by Vignesh, the central character from Thalaiva Vaa. Vignesh now takes the role of a mentor and conducts a distinctive mentoring programme called "777": seven sessions held at 7:00 p.m. on the seventh day of the week.
Through Narendran's journey, the book examines the common struggles, doubts, habits, workplace pressures, and career decisions faced by employees. It presents practical lessons through an engaging story, helping readers understand how they can improve their attitude, performance, relationships, and professional growth.
The title ESCAPE is itself an acronym and forms an important part of the learning presented in the book.
The book received a warm response from employees and working professionals because it speaks directly about their workplace experiences in a simple and relatable manner.

Vadivelu Melanmai is a Tamil business novel built on an unusual and highly creative idea. The book takes twelve popular dialogues of Tamil comedy legend Mr. Vadivelu and interprets them through the worlds of business, work, leadership, and everyday life.
The story revolves around Amuthan, a speaker and trainer, who is asked to write a regular series for a youth magazine. Looking for a fresh approach, he chooses famous Vadivelu dialogues as the foundation for his writing. Each section begins with a familiar comedy line and develops it into a practical lesson about business behaviour, workplace thinking, decision-making, responsibility, and human nature.
These dialogues became especially popular among employees, entrepreneurs, business owners, and young professionals. Vadivelu Melanmai became a super seller and later entered its second edition. Its success came from its simple language, familiar humour, and sharp business interpretation.
Surekaa personally presented a copy of the book to Mr. Vadivelu. The actor was delighted and amazed by the way his dialogues had been turned into meaningful lessons for business and life.

Padam Parthu Padi is a Tamil business and conceptual novel that presents life and business lessons through memorable scenes from popular Tamil films.
The story revolves around six friends living together in a mansion. They come from different backgrounds and follow different professions, but they share one strong interest: cinema. Guru, the central character, works as an assistant film director. Through conversations with his friends, he explains important principles related to life, career, business, relationships, attitude, responsibility, and personal growth — all connected to familiar scenes from Tamil cinema.
The book draws meaningful lessons from films such as Ayya, Boys, Uyarthiru 420, Thiruvilayadal, Ramana, Arputham, Mugavari, En Magan, Puthiya Geethai, Nanban, and Vasool Raja MBBS.
Instead of merely discussing cinema, the book helps readers look deeper into scenes they may have already watched — showing how a film scene can contain a lesson about leadership, decision-making, confidence, discipline, human behaviour, or business thinking.

Nesamani Thathuvangal is an updated and expanded version of Surekaa Sundar's popular business book Vadivelu Melanmai. It presents familiar comedy dialogues through a fresh interpretation of business, work, management, human behaviour, and everyday life.
The new edition includes more detailed chapters, refined explanations, and carefully edited dialogues. The ideas were developed further so that readers could understand the deeper meaning behind each dialogue and connect it with practical situations in their personal and professional lives.
An important person behind the revival of this book was Surekaa's dear friend, popular television presenter and public figure Mr. Gobinath, widely known as Neeya Naana Gobinath. After the publisher of Vadivelu Melanmai discontinued the publishing business, Mr. Gobinath felt that the ideas in the book deserved to reach a much wider audience. His encouragement became the main catalyst for revising, improving, and republishing the work through a new publisher.
Nesamani Thathuvangal retains the humour and lateral thinking of the earlier book while offering greater depth and clarity — revealing useful lessons about leadership, responsibility, workplace habits, communication, decision-making, and life.

Ner Mukkiya Thervu is a practical guide to interview preparation for students, fresh graduates, and jobseekers. The book explains interview techniques in simple language and helps readers understand how to prepare, present themselves, answer questions, and approach an interview with confidence.
The book has an interesting origin. In 2015, Mr. Parthasarathy, Sub-Editor of the online edition of Dinamani, one of Tamil Nadu's well-known daily newspapers, invited Surekaa Sundar to write a weekly series on job interviews. Surekaa wrote 24 episodes, published over 24 weeks — receiving a strong response from students, parents, college placement officers, and teachers.
After reading the series, placement officers from several colleges invited Surekaa to address their students. As a result, he visited more than 25 colleges and conducted sessions on interview preparation, employability, communication, and workplace readiness.
Following the COVID-19 period, Surekaa compiled and developed the series into a complete book, released online in 2021 as an e-book and on Kindle. It was offered at a very affordable price for a long period so that more students and jobseekers could benefit from it.
Keynotes and workshops built on the wisdom of these seven books.
